College Location
Abuja Caregivers College is to be sited in Kubwa, along the Zuba expressway. The location is serene and very conspicuous to encourage patronage and easy access. It is fenced to provide security and privacy to the College.
The layout of the institution is well planned and structured for circulation by people. The place is eco-friendly with a great deal of horticultural works done on it.
College Infrastructure
The infrastructure within the institute is listed and discussed below:
A. Lecture Halls
The lecture halls are well furnished and ventilated for a good learning environment.
B. Clinical Classes
The clinical classes are well equipped laboratories where practical lessons are being taken by the students.
C. Administrative Offices
There will be administrative offices where the affairs of the institute are being handled. They also include offices for the staff.
Educational Structure
The knowledge they will acquire during capacity building programme will empowers the trained Caregivers to provide professional services that are required to cope with the challenges of those they are in charge of.
Trained students by the institute are usually required to pass an examination for their certification. To achieve its objective, the Caregivers College is technically structured as follows.
A. Course Duration
The Caregivers program in the institute that will last for 4 – 12 weeks (depending on certification requirements) is quick, thorough, current and relevant with courses that offer great experience and the ability to get into gainful employment in just a couple of months.
Generally, the Caregiver training programs is broken into contact hours and practical. The programs offer a minimum of 75 hours of classroom instruction and practical training.
The training will be in two sessions of four-hour each daily: morning session (9.00am – 1.00pm) and afternoon session (2.00pm – 6.00pm).

a. CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) or HHA (Home Health Aide) optional
b. CPR & First Aid Certification
c. Dementia Care Certification (optional)
